DCAC 1200

Reproducible – color-stable – individual
The DCAC 1200 sets new standards in power supply for the electrolytic coloring of aluminum. The special digital control algorithm ensures that identical color results are produced from batch to batch, even without complex program modifications. As a result, the DCAC 1200 increases both quality and throughput.

The high color stability – repeatability day after day – is supported by the simple, intuitive operation. The wide range of available programs enables ever new, individual color nuances. These process-oriented functions form the basis for achieving high productivity. An investment that pays off.

DCAC 1200
The DCAC 1200 is a precise and efficient solution for aluminum finishing and is used specifically in the anodizing sector. It enables high-quality coloring processes with high color uniformity, short process times, and maximum reproducibility.

By dividing the system into a compact power unit and a separate control terminal, the coloring process can be optimally controlled and monitored directly near the tank. Standard and special colors can be easily set and activated. In conjunction with the IF 1200, an expansion of the color spectrum is also possible.

The digitally controlled use of the AC mains voltage ensures an optimal sine wave and guarantees maximum color stability. The robust industrial design and wear-free control make the DCAC 1200 a reliable and productive solution for modern anodizing processes.

FAQ

What is the main function of the DCAC 1200?

The DCAC 1200 is a color transformer for the electrolytic coloring of aluminum. It uses the AC mains voltage directly and regulates it digitally to achieve optimal color uniformity and short process times.
The DCAC 1200 can produce standard colors (bronze and black tones) as well as individual custom colors. In combination with the IF 1200, the color range can be extended to include interference colors.
The DCAC 1200 consists of a compact power unit and a separate control terminal that can be positioned directly at the bath. This enables optimal process control even in the immediate vicinity of the bath.
The DCAC 1200 is used as a downstream device after the anodizing process. MUNK recommends a combination of anodizing rectifier and DCAC 1200 tailored to the customer’s process.
Since the DCAC 1200 uses the AC mains voltage (optimal sine wave) and regulates it digitally, it achieves higher color uniformity and better reproducibility than conventional AC devices.
