Application
The PSP 2540 and PSP 3050 rectifier units are high-performance DC power supplies for precisely controlled industrial processes. They are used particularly in electroplating applications, water treatment, and demanding special electrolytic processes. Thanks to their high efficiency and reliability, the systems are ideally suited for continuous operation in industrial environments.
Product description
The PSP 2540 and PSP 3050 DC power supply impresses with its highly efficient, ultra-compact design in a modern low-profile configuration. The water-cooled rectifier unit is modular in design, maintenance-friendly, and integrated into a robust, high-quality painted compact steel cabinet. The DC output is via copper busbars on the narrow rear side of the cabinet.
For maximum process integration, various interfaces are available, including galvanically isolated setpoint and actual values (0 – 10 VDC), optionally 4 – 20 mA, as well as industrial communication solutions such as Profibus DP or Profinet. The system is short-circuit-proof and features integrated overtemperature monitoring for maximum operational safety.
Additionally, the low-profile design is also available in PowerCabinet Nano design—either air-cooled or water-cooled—thus offering flexible application options for different system concepts.
Customer benefits
Thanks to its geometry (W/D/H: 400/600/1500 [mm]) and a footprint of only 0.25 m², the water-cooled high-performance rectifier PSP 2540 or PSP 3050 delivers a particularly strong impact in everyday electroplating operations. In addition to the high degree of protection (IP54), the low-profile rectifier unit PSP 2540, or PSP 3050, features MUNK’s typical modularity, which—besides the option of scalability or easy power upgrades—allows service and maintenance work to be carried out quickly and easily at any time.
