AxD Cabinet L

Application
The requirements for high-quality surfaces and complex electrolytic processes are continuously increasing. Pulse power supplies are therefore increasingly used in electroplating as well as in a wide range of special applications. They enable targeted process control and contribute decisively to improving coating quality, efficiency, and process reliability.

Product Description
With the AxD device generation (Cabinet L design), modern pulse power supply is being consistently further developed. The powerful and flexible power supply concept offers extensive possibilities for the individual design of pulse shapes – even for demanding applications in the extended power range.
The integrated design tool and the Windows-based PC software VPC 3.0 form the user-friendly interface between the user and the system. Via the dual interface hardware (Twin-Interface), the pulse power supply can be seamlessly integrated into higher-level plant control systems, thus enabling precise, automated process management.

Customer Benefits
The AxD Cabinet L device series is available in air-cooled or water-cooled versions. This always ensures installation in close proximity to the bath. Protection classes up to IP 54. The intelligent multi-pulse concept and the highly effective pulse current optimization (IPOS) guarantee extremely steep current rise times and optimal results for all special pulse applications.

FAQ

What does the AxD Cabinet L offer?

The AxD Cabinet L is the most powerful variant of the AxD family, featuring IRMS 3,200 A, pulse currents up to 9,600 A, and 56 kW, distributed across up to 8 output circuits.
The AxD Cabinet L is recommended when particularly high continuous currents (3,200 A instead of 2,400 A) or pulse currents (9,600 A instead of 7,200 A) are required, for example, in large electroplating baths.
The AxD Cabinet L enables very fast sample turnaround times compared to standard PP or PPR power supplies, which significantly increases electroplating efficiency and coating quality.
The robust cabinet housing allows easy access to all service areas. MUNK offers comprehensive service and maintenance contracts.
Yes, the AxD Cabinet L is available with both air and water cooling, with the water-cooled variant offering higher power density.
