PowerCabinet Nano, air-cooled

Application
In modern electroplating plants, there is a trend toward installing central multi-circuit power supplies. The PowerCabinet Nano low-floor design is specifically used for POP systems as well as for medium-sized electroplating systems, such as zinc and zinc-nickel coatings.

Product description
The PowerCabinet Nano design in modern low-floor construction features 3-6 individual rectifiers in a 19″ design, provided in a bundle with a central feed station, a central bus interface or interface transfer, and (for water cooling) a central cooling interface. High output current can be achieved through so-called “scaling” of individual modules. The copper busbar connection is located on the side of the device. The PowerCabinet Nano is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled designs.

In the new low-floor design, we also offer the water-cooled PSP-2540 rectifier unit.

Customer benefits
The PowerCabinet Nano low-floor design is an incomparably secure technical solution where the term “central rectifier unit” takes on a completely new meaning. The entire installation effort is manageable and easy to implement. The PowerCabinet Nano design offers a sustainable concept with a transparent investment volume and a power level that can be expanded at any time, allowing it to be flexibly adapted to individual requirements.

FAQ

What distinguishes the PowerCabinet Nano from the regular PowerCabinet?

What distinguishes the PowerCabinet Nano from the regular PowerCabinet? The PowerCabinet Nano is designed in a low-floor construction (lower overall height) and holds up to 6 × 2,000 A. It is ideal when the installation height is limited.
The PowerCabinet Nano is particularly suitable for production halls with low ceiling heights or when the rectifier needs to be installed near the electroplating tank to save space.
The PowerCabinet Nano can supply up to 6 output circuits with 2,000 A each, which is sufficient for most medium-sized electroplating systems.
Yes, the PowerCabinet Nano is based on the same modular PSP concept as the standard PowerCabinet and can be adapted by replacing or adding modules.
The PowerCabinet Nano protects the power modules from the corrosive electroplating atmosphere and is equipped with all standard protection functions (short-circuit protection, overtemperature protection).
