PowerCabinet Nano

Application
In modern electroplating plants, central multi-circuit power supplies are increasingly used to control processes efficiently and flexibly. The PowerCabinet Nano Design in low-floor technology is specifically designed for POP systems as well as for medium-sized electroplating plants, for example, for zinc and zinc-nickel coatings. It enables a reliable and scalable DC power supply for demanding coating processes.

Product Description
The PowerCabinet Nano Design in modern low-floor construction combines several powerful rectifier modules in a compact form. Depending on the version, 3 to 6 individual rectifiers in 19″ technology are available, which feature a central power input station as well as bundled interfaces for control, communication, and – for water-cooled variants – also for cooling.

The flexible scaling of the modules allows the output current to be individually adjusted and expanded. The laterally arranged copper busbar connection enables simple and space-saving integration into existing system concepts.

The PowerCabinet Nano is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions, offering maximum flexibility for different operating conditions. Additionally, the water-cooled PSP 2540 rectifier unit is also available in low-floor construction, expanding the possibilities of modern DC power supply systems.

Customer Benefits
The PowerCabinet Nano Design in low-floor technology is an incomparably secure technical solution, giving the term “central rectifier unit” a completely new meaning. The entire installation effort is manageable and easy to implement. The PowerCabinet Nano design offers a sustainable concept with a transparent investment volume and a power level that can be expanded at any time, making it flexibly adaptable to individual requirements.

FAQ

Does the PowerCabinet comply with industrial safety standards?

Certainly. The PowerCabinet complies with all relevant European standards and safety directives, including CE, EN 60204-1. Thus, MUNK offers maximum operational safety, quality, and conformity: Made in Germany.
With an efficiency of over 94%, the PowerCabinet sets standards in efficient energy use. The consistent power supply supports reliable process conditions and sustainably reduces operating costs.
A rectifier with multiple outputs enables the operation of several processes or baths via a central system. This reduces installation effort, space requirements, and energy costs, while simplifying maintenance and control. The MUNK PowerCabinet also offers independently controllable outputs, significantly increasing process flexibility and production reliability.
MUNK GmbH is one of the few manufacturers that offer rectifier units with multiple independently regulated outputs. The PowerCabinet system enables the simultaneous operation of several processes from a central unit, providing an efficient solution for compact system concepts and space-saving electroplating installations.
MUNK GmbH supplies IGBT rectifier units with multiple outputs. With the PowerCabinet, MUNK offers up to six independent outputs (each channel separately regulated and parameterizable) for parallel electroplating and anodizing processes.
