PowerRack

Application
The PowerRack is a modern and flexible DC power supply for a wide range of industrial applications. It is used in particular in electroplating processes, water treatment, and special electrolytic processes. The PowerRack also provides a reliable and precise power supply in automated and DC-supported process technologies.

Product description
The PowerRack rectifier unit combines scalable performance with modern control and display technology. As a flexible DC power supply, it is suitable for almost all DC-based processes and meets the high requirements of modern surface technology.

An integrated display allows for the direct viewing and easy monitoring of all relevant process parameters. The modular 19″ design ensures high power density with a small footprint, while optional redundancy guarantees maximum process reliability.

The PowerRack is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions, providing optimal conditions for efficient and reliable continuous operation in a wide variety of industrial environments.

Customer Benefits
The PowerRack impresses with its compact and expandable design and offers maximum flexibility with low residual ripple. It enables precise constant current and voltage control, is redundant, and ensures maximum process reliability. In addition, the PowerRack is lightweight and modular, with each power module functioning as an independent DC power supply.

FAQ

What are the advantages of the water-cooled PowerRack compared to the air-cooled version?

The water-cooled PowerRack offers a significantly higher power density within the same installation space and can also be used at high ambient temperatures or in closed cabinet systems.
The water-cooled PowerRack delivers output currents of up to 7,500 A by combining several water-cooled PSP modules.
The PowerRack enclosure effectively protects the integrated modules against acid fumes and aggressive environments typical of electroplating plants.
Yes, by adding further 19″ power modules, the capacity of the PowerRack can be flexibly expanded without having to replace the entire system.
The PowerRack supports an integrated redundancy function, where the remaining modules take over the load of the failed module to continue the process without interruption.
