PSP 1525 / PSP 2036

Application
The PSP 1525 / PSP 2036 rectifier units are used wherever a precisely regulated DC power supply is required. Especially in rack and barrel systems for electroplating processes, they ensure a stable, reliable, and efficient power supply for demanding coating processes.

Product Description
The PSP 1525 / PSP 2036 are highly efficient, ultra-compact rectifier units in modular design for wall mounting. These DC power supply systems impress with their maintenance-friendly, modular construction and are integrated into a robust stainless steel housing with an open cooling water circuit.

The DC output is via copper busbars on the underside of the housing, ensuring reliable and low-loss power transmission. Both devices are short-circuit proof and feature integrated overtemperature monitoring for maximum operational safety.

With a maximum cooling water temperature of up to 30 °C, the PSP rectifier units offer optimal conditions for efficient and long-lasting use in industrial applications.

Customer benefits
Thanks to the high degree of protection (IP 54), the unit can be installed in the immediate vicinity of the bath, either horizontally or vertically.

FAQ

When should I choose the PSP-Compact module instead of the PSP-Compact box?

The PSP-Compact module is designed for fixed integration into control cabinets, while the PSP-Compact box is mounted as a standalone wall unit. The module is recommended for central systems.
The PSP-Compact module delivers 36 kW with a maximum output current of 1,800 A, making it the most powerful unit in the air-cooled alpha/gamma module series.
Yes, the PSP-Compact module is also suitable for unipolar pulse applications. For complex pulse processes, MUNK recommends the AxD pulse product family.
The PSP-Compact module is fixed in the control cabinet by wall mounting or in an installation frame. MUNK can supply complete system solutions, including cabinet and wiring, upon request.
The PSP-Compact module offers galvanically isolated setpoints and actual values (0–10 VDC), optionally 4–20 mA, as well as Profibus DP and ProfiNET.
