PSP Box Gamma L

Application
Surface treatment processes in manual electroplating, laboratory and pilot-plant applications. Mobile use for electropolishing or brush plating, coating technology, pulse applications.

Product description
The compact and easily transportable, switched-mode rectifier unit gamma L is quickly ready for use in the benchtop version. Depending on the model, a corresponding power socket is sufficient for the mains supply. In its simplest form, it can be operated with current and voltage control.

Clear, large digital displays provide excellent readability. Optional features include programmable Ah/Amin/Asec counters, timer, ramp functions, and simplified pulse applications.

The gamma L benchtop unit is also available as an air-cooled module/plug-in unit for control cabinet installation and optionally with the MFD 10 multi-function display.

Customer benefits
Easy to operate and individually applicable. Scalable for power increases if required. Short-circuit proof and consistently low residual ripple allow for use in numerous processes; can also be remotely controlled via PLC or PC if needed.

Interfaces

FAQ

What are the main specifications of the gamma L?

The gamma L is the most powerful device in the PSP Box series with 36 kW and up to 2,000 A output current, suitable for demanding industrial electroplating processes.
The gamma L is available as a PSP Box (portable benchtop unit) as well as a module and plug-in unit for control cabinet installation.
The gamma L has a residual ripple of 3% across the entire power range. For processes with stricter requirements, MUNK recommends devices from the alpha series.
Yes, the gamma L is designed for a 100% duty cycle (24/7 operation) and is therefore ideally suited for continuous use in production electroplating.
The gamma L is connected to the three-phase industrial mains (3 × 400 V / 50 Hz + N + PE). The exact fusing and supply line should be coordinated with MUNK.
