Application
The PSP Tower is used in general electroplating, electropolishing, and aluminum anodizing.
Product description
The PSP Tower stands for maximum efficiency in modern rectifier technology and impresses with a combination of high power density, modular design, and reliable industrial engineering. With an output of 36 kW per module and a maximum output current of 2,000 A (18 V / 2,000 A), it offers one of the highest power densities in its class.
Based on modern SiC technology, the PSP Tower delivers stable output currents in continuous operation – even under fluctuating mains conditions and without additional add-ons or subsequent expansions. This makes it particularly suitable for retrofit applications where existing infrastructure is to be retained while the system’s performance is specifically increased.
Thanks to its modular concept, the total output can be flexibly adapted: with up to five modules, output currents of up to 10,000 A can already be achieved. At the same time, the low number of modules ensures high availability, reliability, and low maintenance costs.
A particular advantage of the PSP Tower is its easy expandability. Thanks to its stackable housing design and external connections, additional modules can be integrated quickly – enabling straightforward power increases during ongoing operation.
Customer Benefits
Increasing power has never been so easy. Each 2,000 A module has its own stackable housing. This results in a major advantage: you can simply place a new module on the existing PSP Tower and, in just a few steps, you have built a “new” rectifier with more power.
