Product Description
The Profibus DP coupling module is designed as a compact single-board module in a robust aluminum housing and is optimized for industrial use. Via the Profibus DP protocol, the module provides 4 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs, as well as 2 analog inputs and outputs.

All inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated, ensuring high interference immunity and reliable signal transmission.

What is the Profibus DP interface module?

The Profibus DP interface module enables the control and monitoring of MUNK rectifiers via the PROFIBUS DP communication protocol, thereby facilitating seamless integration into industrial automation environments.
The coupling module is compatible with a wide range of MUNK rectifiers from the PSP family and other series. Please contact MUNK Sales to confirm exact compatibility.
Setpoints (current, voltage), status messages, actual values, and control commands (on/off, operating mode) can be exchanged between the rectifier and the higher-level controller via Profibus DP.
The coupling module is mounted directly on or inside the rectifier. Installation and configuration are performed according to the enclosed manual.
MUNK offers both Profibus-DP and ProfiNET interfaces for its rectifiers. The right option depends on the customer’s automation system.
