Application
The multi-circuit power supply is ideally suited for modern electroplating systems, e.g. in plastic electroplating (POP) or for zinc and zinc alloys. It is also used in semi-automated small systems, for example in medical technology, as well as for pulse applications. It ensures an efficient, stable and reliable DC power supply for a wide range of industrial processes.
Product description
The multi-circuit power supply is a central cabinet system that supplies electroplating baths with DC power in a star configuration, reliably. As a “ready-to-go” rectifier solution, it is equipped with an integrated mains sub-distribution and features a central mains, control and cooling connection.
By installing the system at a technically sensible distance with a central infeed, it offers high fuse selectivity, modern communication interfaces and a well-thought-out cooling concept. The integrated rectifier units in proven 19″ plug-in technology ensure flexible, service-friendly operation. At the same time, risks such as those that can occur with decentralized individual units directly at the electroplating bath are significantly reduced.
The multi-circuit power supply is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions, offering maximum flexibility for different system concepts.
Customer Benefits
The multi-circuit power supply bundles all process cells in a central housing. Installation effort is concentrated on a single central mains cable, the control line, and the DC cabling and busbars. In contrast to a decentralized solution, the system ensures that dangerous mains voltage remains exclusively within the cabinet and does not reach the bath. The costs for optimal cooling are low.
Furthermore, the multi-circuit power supply has a sustainable, robust design that withstands the corrosive environmental conditions at the process baths and offers the user production reliability.
